Mirror Mirror
Mirror Mirror: Seven rebel dwarves against the Evil Queen
A closer look at the story
This is a slightly different, slightly crazy and very funny take on the Snow White fairy tale you know. The wicked enchantress Queen has sent the lovely Snow White into exile and seized the throne. Having emptied the treasury with her extravagant spending, however, the Queen sees marriage to the handsome, wealthy Prince Andrew Alcott as the way to restore her fortune. There is just one problem: the prince is in love with Snow White. Backed by seven rebellious dwarves she meets in the forest, Snow White has no intention of leaving her fate in other people's hands any longer. To win back her crown, she launches an epic struggle of good against evil. Directed by Tarsem Singh, this 106-minute 2012 fantasy family comedy stars Julia Roberts, Lily Collins, Armie Hammer and Nathan Lane.
