Kill Bill: Vol. 2

A closer look at the story

Kill Bill: Vol. 2 picks up the Bride's quest for vengeance exactly where it left off. The squad of assassins she once belonged to betrayed her in the cruellest way, trying to kill both her and the baby she was carrying. Having survived the attack, she has sworn to make every one of them answer for it. Working through the five names on her Death List, she tracks down her former comrades one after another, and each visit means one more name struck from the page. The vendetta was forced on her, yet she is set on seeing it through, and when the rest are dealt with only one job will remain: to kill Bill. Whatever the cost, the Bride intends to follow this path to its end. This 136-minute action crime film from 2004 was both scripted and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Uma Thurman plays the Bride, Beatrix Kiddo, with David Carradine as Bill, Daryl Hannah as Elle Driver, Michael Madsen as Budd and Gordon Liu as Pai Mei.
