Rick and Morty

A closer look at the story

Rick Sanchez is a brilliant scientist who is also an alcoholic, careless and almost entirely without a conscience. His favourite travelling companion is his timid, easily panicked grandson, Morty. Whether Morty likes it or not, Rick hauls him off on reckless jaunts to other planets, alternate dimensions and worlds beyond imagination. Every adventure is both the strangest experience of Morty's life and a moral test, while back home Jerry, Beth and Summer wrestle with their own chaotic problems. Created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, the series has aired on Adult Swim since 2013 and has reached 9 seasons and 91 episodes; it is a sharp-tongued, inventive adult animated comedy.
