Wicked: For Good
Wicked: For Good — the epic finale of the witches of Oz
A closer look at the story
The untold story of the witches of Oz reaches its epic finale. Elphaba has now been demonised by all of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West. Living in exile, she carries on fighting for the truth to come out. Glinda, meanwhile, has risen to a dazzling position in the Emerald City as the symbol of goodness. The distance between them has never been greater. But when the furious people of Oz rise up against the Wicked Witch, the two women are forced to come together one last time. This time they must truly see each other and act with honesty and empathy; only then can they fulfil their shared destiny and change both themselves and the fate of Oz forever. Jon M. Chu again takes the helm for this 137-minute concluding chapter, which stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh.
