CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

A closer look at the story

Behind the glittering streets of Las Vegas, a new crime is waiting to be solved every day. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation follows the forensic team that takes these crimes on. Led by chief Gil Grissom, the specialists comb every inch of the crime scene, gather evidence that cannot be disputed and use scientific methods to put together the missing pieces that will crack the mystery. In each episode the team sheds light on a different case or killing; a single fibre, a fingerprint or a tiny bloodstain may be the key to the truth. Characters such as Nick Stokes, Sara Sidle, Greg Sanders and Detective Jim Brass are the faces of this demanding work, which moves between the lab and the streets. Also broadcast in Turkey on TRT as "Kanıt Peşinde", the series was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and Ann Donahue and ran on CBS from 2000 for fifteen seasons and 335 episodes, with George Eads, Jorja Fox and Paul Guilfoyle in the cast.
