Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender

A closer look at the story

Aang is the Avatar and the last Airbender in the world. After long and difficult struggles, the world has at last found peace, yet the culture of Aang's own people still faces the threat of disappearing altogether. One day Aang hears of a power from long ago that might rescue that culture. The discovery gives him hope of keeping his people's heritage alive. But in the wrong hands, this power is dangerous enough to wreck in an instant the peace for which everyone sacrificed so much. With his friends' help, Aang sets off on an adventure that spans the globe to find the power before anyone else does. Directed by Lauren Montgomery and written by Tim Hedrick and Christopher L. Yost, this 99-minute 2026 animated adventure features Eric Nam as the voice of Aang, with Dave Bautista, Jessica Matten, Román Zaragoza and Steven Yeun also in the cast.
