Schindler's List

A closer look at the story

During the Second World War, Jewish workers forced into slave labour by the Nazis toil in the factory of businessman Oskar Schindler. As the horror of the Holocaust deepens, that factory becomes almost their only route away from death. Based on real events, the story follows how Schindler saved the lives of more than a thousand Jews. Steven Spielberg directs Steven Zaillian's adaptation of the book by Thomas Keneally; the 195-minute 1993 film features Liam Neeson as Schindler, Ben Kingsley as Itzhak Stern and Ralph Fiennes as Amon Goeth in a devastating historical drama.
