Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

A closer look at the story

Four high-school students with completely different personalities come across an old video game console while serving detention. Loaded in it is a game none of them has ever heard of, called Jumanji. The moment they start playing, they find themselves in the game's wild jungle, inside the bodies of the avatars they picked, and those bodies are nothing like their real selves. The only way home is to play this adventure of fun, thrills and danger through to the end; otherwise they will be stuck inside the game for ever. Directed by Jake Kasdan, the 119-minute 2017 film stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan in an entertaining adventure comedy.
