The Graham Norton Show

A closer look at the story

The Graham Norton Show is a weekly chat show hosted by Irish comedian Graham Norton that welcomes celebrity guests. Every week, well-known names come into the studio to talk with Norton about what has been happening around the world over the past seven days. The top stories take on a whole new colour through the guests' witty remarks and personal opinions. The guests make fun of the headlines and share their own perspectives, giving the programme a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. At the end of the show, a band or artist often takes to the stage to close the episode with a musical performance. Names such as Judi Dench, Dawn French, Ricky Gervais and Jack Whitehall have been among the celebrities to appear as guests. Airing on BBC channels since 2007, the programme is hosted by Graham Norton.
