Better Call Saul
Better Call Saul: From Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman
A closer look at the story
A spin-off from Breaking Bad, the series opens six years before Walter White crosses paths with Saul Goodman. At this point the future Saul is still called Jimmy McGill, a minor lawyer looking for his calling and, more urgently, scrambling to pay the bills. Mike Ehrmantraut, a "fixer", sometimes works with him and often against him. As Jimmy's path crosses with figures such as Kim Wexler, Howard Hamlin and Nacho Varga, his transformation advances step by step, and the series traces how he becomes Saul Goodman, a lawyer who stretches every moral line. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould's creation aired on AMC from 2015 and lasted 6 seasons and 63 episodes; Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks and Rhea Seehorn star in this crime drama.
