Avatar: Fire and Ash

A closer look at the story

Still reeling from their ruinous conflict with the RDA and grieving their eldest son, Neytiri and Jake Sully come up against an entirely different threat on Pandora. This time their opponent is not humanity but a tribe from their own world: the Ash People, a brutal, power-hungry Na'vi clan led by the merciless Varang. While humans carry on plundering Pandora's resources, the Na'vi are trying to live in harmony with nature, but the rise of the Ash People shakes that balance to its foundations. The Sully family is drawn into a struggle to survive and to protect the future of Pandora, one that will test them to breaking point, body and soul. James Cameron co-wrote this 198-minute epic science-fiction adventure from 2025 with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver and directed it; Zoe Saldaña, Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver lead the cast.
