A closer look at the story

A journalist's little girl vanishes without a trace in the desert one day. Months turn into years, the searches come to nothing and the family is shattered by the loss. Then, after a full eight years, something unexpected happens: the missing girl is suddenly brought back to her family. At first the miraculous return brings great joy, but the joy does not last long. Inexplicable and increasingly strange events begin to occur in the house, and what should have been a happy reunion quickly turns into a living nightmare. The family has to understand what the girl went through while she was gone, and what has come home with her.
