War Machine: An otherworldly enemy on the last training mission
A closer look at the story
Soldiers going through punishing training to join the US Army's elite Rangers are preparing for the final and toughest mission. Those who complete it will make it into the unit they have dreamed of. But what starts as an exercise soon becomes a life-or-death battle that none of them is ready for. They come up against a gigantic killing machine that does not belong to this world. A combat engineer in training is forced to lead his unit against this terrifying enemy. The goal is no longer to earn marks or pass a test, but simply to stay alive. Directed by Patrick Hughes, who wrote it with James Beaufort, this 110-minute 2026 science-fiction action film stars Alan Ritchson, Stephan James, Dennis Quaid and Esai Morales.
