The Boys
The Boys: Ordinary people against corrupt superheroes
A closer look at the story
In this world superheroes are famous, yet behind the scenes they misuse their powers and their fame without a second thought. The ones who dare to stand up to them are a handful of people with no powers at all. Known informally as "The Boys", this group sets out to bring the corrupt heroes down, relying on nothing but stubbornness, working-class toughness and a readiness to play dirty when it counts. Created by Eric Kripke, the series began on Prime Video in 2019 and ended after 5 seasons and 40 episodes; Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty and Laz Alonso star in this brutal, darkly funny take on superheroes.
