When his father dies, Ethan Nichols becomes the owner of a vast greenhouse, among the largest in the country. Just as he takes it over, though, the world is facing a catastrophic threat from an incoming asteroid. As society begins to come apart, Ethan battles both the chaos in the world around him and his own inner conflicts. A personal betrayal wounds him deeply, and on top of it comes a crushing sense of loneliness. His greatest fear is that the price of survival may be losing his humanity. Eventually Ethan takes shelter in his family's bunker. In the harsh days after the asteroid hits, he has to fight both physical injuries and emotional collapse. One day a faint voice comes through on his radio, showing Ethan that he is not as alone as he thought. Directed by Michiel Rensen and Liam Carter and written by Rensen, this 95-minute 2026 New Zealand science-fiction thriller stars Michiel Rensen as Ethan, with Maxie Li and Riki Antonievich also in the cast.
