Deadpool

A closer look at the story

Wade Wilson left the Special Forces behind and now works as a mercenary, living strictly on his own terms. Just as things seem to fall into place after he meets Vanessa, he learns that he has cancer. He signs up for a secret experiment that promises a cure and, after enduring terrible pain, emerges with a body that can heal itself at astonishing speed, though at a steep price. Calling himself Deadpool and never letting go of his pitch-black humour, Wade goes after Ajax, the man who wrecked his life. Directed by Tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the 108-minute 2016 film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein and T.J. Miller in a sharp-tongued action comedy.
