Chicago P.D.

A closer look at the story

Spun off from Chicago Fire, this police drama tells the story of the officers serving in District 21 of the Chicago Police Department, who risk everything to protect their community. The district is made up of two very different groups. On one side are the uniformed officers who walk the beat and deal directly with crime on the city's streets. On the other is the Intelligence Unit, which takes on the city's biggest offences, from organised crime and drug trafficking to murders that shock the public. Created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead and broadcast on NBC since 2014, the series stars Jason Beghe, Marina Squerciati, Patrick John Flueger and LaRoyce Hawkins.
