Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie

A closer look at the story

Marinette is a slightly clumsy, ordinary teenager living in Paris. One day, however, the guardian of a set of magical jewels turns her and Adrien, the most popular boy at school, into superheroes, and her life changes completely. Marinette becomes Ladybug, gifted with the power of creation, while Adrien becomes Cat Noir. But this new life comes with an unbreakable rule: they can never reveal their true identities to anyone, not even to each other. The secret makes the relationship between them both exciting and complicated. When a new villain begins to spread chaos through the city, Ladybug has to join forces with her opposite, Cat Noir, to save Paris. Directed by Jeremy Zag, who wrote it with Bettina López Mendoza, this 105-minute 2023 French-Chinese-Canadian musical animation stars the voices of Anouck Hautbois and Benjamin Bollen.
