The Fall Guy

A closer look at the story

After an accident that very nearly ended his career, stuntman Colt Seavers stepped away from the business a year ago to concentrate on his physical and mental health. One day, though, a call brings him back to the set: the leading star of a big-budget studio film directed by his ex-girlfriend, Jody Moreno, has disappeared. While trying to win back Jody's heart, Colt also performs the film's wildest action sequences. Once he starts tracking down the missing star, however, things get far more dangerous, because a dark criminal conspiracy lies behind the disappearance. Colt has to do his job, rescue his love life and crack the mystery all at once. David Leitch directs from Drew Pearce's script; the 127-minute 2024 film stars Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Hannah Waddingham in an action comedy.
