Crystal Lake

A closer look at the story

Pam Voorhees is a mother raising her child on her own whose life has been shattered by tragedy. Her young, frail son Jason drowned in the town's lake. Ever since, Pam has been unable to escape the pain of that loss; her grief casts a shadow over every moment of her life. One day, two strangers turn up at her door. They start probing into Pam's past, and in doing so they set off a deeply unsettling series of events. As Pam's history and a long-hidden dark secret come to light, the people of Crystal Lake begin asking the same question: who is Pam Voorhees, really? Created by Brad Caleb Kane and released on Peacock in 2026, this eight-episode mystery drama stars Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, with William Catlett, Gwendolyn Sundstrom and Cameron Scoggins also in the cast.
