The legendary story of the fashion world picks up where it left off. With magazine publishing in steady decline, Miranda Priestly has reached one of the toughest turns in her career; holding on to Runway's place in a changing media landscape has never been harder. Just then, Andy Sachs comes back to Runway. The real surprise waiting for them both, however, is a familiar face from the past: Miranda's former assistant, Emily Charlton. Emily is now an extremely powerful executive at the head of a luxury fashion brand, and the money and advertising budgets she controls may be the only thing that can keep Runway alive. The transformation of Emily, who once carried out Miranda's orders, into a formidable rival lays bare the changing face of the fashion industry and its backstage battles. Directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, this 119-minute 2026 comedy-drama reunites Stanley Tucci, Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
