2 Days and 1 Night

A closer look at the story

2 Days and 1 Night is a much-loved Korean reality-variety show. Its motto neatly sums up its style: "real wild road variety". As the title suggests, the programme is built around trips that the cast members take to different parts of South Korea. Its main aim is to introduce viewers to places worth seeing around the country and to suggest new routes to explore. That way, the audience gets to share in the cast's fun adventures while also picking up inspiration for their own travels. Names such as Kim Jong-min, Eun Ji-won, Cha Tae-hyun, Moon Se-yoon and Jo Se-ho have been part of the cast over the years. Created by Nah Yung-suk, the programme has aired on KBS2 since 2007.
