The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power — evil stirs again in Middle-earth

KINONOOK / EN

A closer look at the story

The story opens at a time when Middle-earth is enjoying a period of relative peace. That calm is deceptive, however, because an evil that has long been silent is seeking ways to return. The series follows a wide cast of characters who confront this dark threat in different places and in different ways. On a journey that stretches from the splendid forests of Lindon to the gloomiest caverns beneath the Misty Mountains, and from the spectacular island realm of Númenor out to the most distant corners of the map, kingdoms and heroes lay the foundations of legacies that will be remembered long after them. Characters such as Galadriel, Elrond, Durin IV, Disa and Nori Brandyfoot stand at the centre of events that will shape the future of Middle-earth. Created by Patrick McKay and John D. Payne, the series has streamed on Prime Video since 2022 and is an epic fantasy drama featuring Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo and Owain Arthur.
