Anyone but You

A closer look at the story

Bea and Ben's first date goes so well that neither of them can forget it. There is a fiery spark between them, and everything seems to be going right. Before long, however, that spark gives way to an icy chill, and the two of them start to dislike each other. That is, until fate throws them together again at a wedding in Australia. With no way of avoiding each other at the celebration, Bea and Ben decide to do what any two grown-ups would: pretend to be a couple. But how long can two people who cannot stand one another keep their feelings in check while playing their parts? Directed by Will Gluck, this 103-minute 2023 romantic comedy pairs Sydney Sweeney with Glen Powell.
