A closer look at the story
In a post-apocalyptic world, in the colourful and decidedly peculiar Land of Ooo, live two best friends: a boy called Finn and Jake, a dog who can change his shape at will. Finn and Jake were both raised by the same family of dogs, so the bond between them runs even deeper than that of brothers. Setting off on a new adventure every day, the pair roam Ooo's bizarre kingdoms, forests and dungeons. Their paths often cross with memorable characters such as the Ice King, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen. In a world where surreal events, absurd humour and surprisingly touching moments intertwine, there is never a dull day for Finn and Jake. Created by Pendleton Ward and running on Cartoon Network from 2010 for ten seasons and 279 episodes, this animated series features Jeremy Shada and John DiMaggio voicing the leads.
