Marshals

A closer look at the story

Kayce Dutton has left his life at the Yellowstone Ranch behind for good. A new chapter lies ahead of him as he joins an elite team within the United States Marshals Service. Drawing on both the experience he gained as a cowboy and the skills he acquired as a Navy SEAL, Kayce sets out to deliver justice across Montana's vast open country. He does not face this demanding work alone; his colleagues Andrea Cruz, Belle Skinner, Miles Kittle and Pete Calvin are out in the field with him. As the final barrier against the violence escalating across the region, the unit comes face to face with danger every day. Yet the real struggle is not only with criminals: the team members also have to juggle their responsibilities to their families, their sense of duty and the heavy mental toll the job takes on them. Created by Spencer Hudnut and airing on CBS since 2026, this crime and action drama stars Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, with Logan Marshall-Green and Arielle Kebbel also in the cast.
