The Da Vinci Code: From a murder in the Louvre to an ancient secret

KINONOOK / EN

A closer look at the story

A mysterious killing inside the Louvre in Paris leaves symbologist Robert Langdon in the middle of an unexpected adventure. Coded hints concealed in famous works by Leonardo da Vinci point to a secret that a hidden society has protected for centuries, one that could shake the foundations of Christianity if it ever came out. Regarded by the French police as both their prime suspect and the key to the case, Langdon races against time through the streets of Paris and London with cryptologist Sophie Neveu to expose a perilous conspiracy. Adapted by Akiva Goldsman from Dan Brown's novel and directed by Ron Howard, the 149-minute 2006 film stars Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen and Jean Reno in a mystery thriller.
