Jurassic World
Jurassic World: A dinosaur designed to sell tickets
A closer look at the story
Twenty-two years after the disaster at Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar finally has a fully operational dinosaur park of the kind John Hammond dreamed of. Years after its opening, though, attendance is slipping. To revive interest, the company running the park decides to engineer an entirely new species in the lab, a decision that will have unforeseen consequences for everyone on the island. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, who wrote it with Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver and Derek Connolly, the 124-minute 2015 film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan and Vincent D'Onofrio in a science-fiction adventure.
