The End of Oak Street

A closer look at the story

Oak Street is an ordinary suburban street: neat gardens, neighbours who know one another and lives that follow the same pattern day after day. Until a mysterious cosmic event changes everything. In an instant, Oak Street, with all its houses and residents, is torn from where it stands and carried off to somewhere completely unknown. The world around them is now unrecognisable. The Platt family soon understands that, in this strange and dangerous place, staying alive means never letting go of one another. As Denise, Greg, Audrey and Brian try to find their way, they discover that their family ties are both their greatest strength and their only refuge. Written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, this 100-minute 2026 science-fiction mystery stars Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor.
