NCIS: Los Angeles

A closer look at the story

NCIS: Los Angeles follows the exploits of the Office of Special Projects, or OSP, a top-tier unit of NCIS, the Navy's criminal investigation service, based in Los Angeles. The team specialises in undercover work and goes after criminals who threaten national security and are almost impossible to catch. Its leading figures, Special Agents G. Callen and Sam Hanna, together with colleagues such as Kensi Blye and Marty Deeks, take on false identities to infiltrate the deepest corners of the criminal world. They rely on cutting-edge devices and surveillance systems in their missions, but in every operation they entrust their lives to one another. Each new case brings the team face to face with the dark dangers behind Los Angeles's glossy surface. Created by Shane Brennan and airing on CBS from 2009 for fourteen seasons and 323 episodes, the action-packed procedural stars Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J, with Daniela Ruah and Eric Christian Olsen also in the cast.
